In Matamata we offer a 25 bed specialised Dementia care facility, overseen by a passionate team of people, all well-versed in the practice of the Spark of Life Philosophy.
There is a mix of single, double and triple rooms with a warm, comfortable lounge and well set out dining area. The Residents are kept busy during the day with a range of interesting activities and music therapy.
There are pretty gardens with a kitchen garden which the Residents help to tend. Vegetables and herbs from this garden are used in in the kitchen in the preparation of meals.
In Morrinsville we offer two separate pods of Dementia Care situated in two very different buildings – one a beautifully renovated villa, both set in beautiful grounds. Here too we offer single and double rooms with comfortable lounges and dining areas.
Meals are freshly prepared in a central kitchen on site and Residents in each building enjoy eating meals together in their dining room.
Care Staff in Morrinsville are also trained in the Spark of Life Philosophy and Residents enjoy a varied activities programme in their smaller groups.
