Karen was born and raised in the Philippines and proudly comes from a family of nurses. She had 12 years’ hospital experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before relocating to New Zealand in 2018 to work as an R.N. at a psychogeriatric facility in Hamilton, where she instantly fell in love with caring for people living with Dementia, which Karen says is a challenging and rewarding experience.
Karen has been with Kingswood since 2022 and says caring for her residents has become her calling.
